The GFCI on my electrical hook up is tripping! What do I do?

The good news is the GFCI is doing its job!  The not-so-good news is that it can be frustrating.  Well, don't fret, we have a couple of basic things for you to try.

For 110 Plug N Plays: Push the reset button.  If it won’t reset or trips again, call your dealer for service.

For 220V hook up: Check your breaker box to see that it isn’t tripped. If the breaker is tripped, reset your breaker. If it won’t reset or trips again, call your dealer for service.

If your hot tub is tripping the GFCI regularly and won't stay in the 'on' position, don't delay in calling your dealer for service.  Waiting could make the problem worse and no one wants that to happen!  Always remember, when it doubt, contact your dealer!

Tips & Tricks is a series of blog posts to help Nordic Hot Tub Owners navigate hot tub ownership.  This is not intended to be a comprehensive diagnostic and repair guide nor can it be regarded as a maintenance guide.  If you have questions about your Nordic Hot Tub, call your Nordic Dealer and request to speak with their Service Technician.
